Osteogenic Bone Health Classes

Our Osteogenic classes offer a safe, supervised, bone targeted resistance and impact exercise program targeted at women and men with known osteopenia or osteoporosis with a risk of osteoporotic fracture.

About Osteogenic Classes

We offer a safe, supervised, bone targeted resistance and impact exercise program targeted at women and men with known osteopenia or osteoporosis with a risk of osteoporotic fracture.

The Osteogenic exercise program improves the bone health in postmenopausal women and men with osteoporosis.

The risk of osteoporotic fracture is greatly increased in people who fall. Osteogenic training includes exercises to help prevent falls.

Our Osteogenic program involves

Supervised bone resistance and impact group classes training

Exercises to achieve greater general strength and flexibility

Exercises to prevent osteoporotic fracture by stimulating bone development

Enhancing overall body consciousness for better falls prevention awareness

Sportsmed Service - GLA:D Osteoarthritis Program - Participate in GLA:D

Initial assessment and 1:1 session

Prior to joining one of our Osteogenic Bone Health classes, you must have a 60-minute pre-class assessment at a cost of $90.00. This initial assessment will include a review of your medical history and measurements will be taken of your strength and balance capabilities.

10-class pass – $280.00

Class times and bookings

Following the initial assessment, you will have the option to attend our supervised Osteogenic Bone Health classes. These classes run for 60 minutes and provide an opportunity for you to achieve your strength and rehabilitation goals.

Our new special purpose Rehab Gym at Stepney has room and capacity for 8 participants, plus our Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
